At Orlando Informer, we\u2019re all about living in the moment. That\u2019s why we host the OI Meetup, after all \u2013 so you can enjoy all the thrills and fun of Universal Orlando Resort with little to no waits and crowds! On the other hand, though, one of my favorite ways to reminisce is by looking at old photos \u2013 especially if they\u2019re pics of happy memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But how can you live in the moment while snapping pictures nonstop? I\u2019ll let you in on a secret: the best way to maximize your time in the parks and<\/i> ensure you capture all those happy memories is to plan your photo ops ahead of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Don\u2019t know where to start? No worries! I\u2019ve compiled all of my favorite ones that you can get when you attend the Orlando Informer Meetup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The Universal Studios Florida entrance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
What better place to start our photographic journey than the entrance of Universal Studios Florida? You can snap a picture to remember how you felt right as one of the best nights of the year kicked off. Plus, with little to no crowds, it\u2019s easier to get a photo that shows the park entrance in all its glory. (Don\u2019t forget to tag @OrlandoInformer in any pics you share!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter\u2122 \u2013 Diagon Alley\u2122 in Universal Studios Florida<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
With so much to do and see, it can get pretty bustling in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter\u2122 – Diagon Alley\u2122 during a normal park day. That\u2019s all the more reason to take some beautiful shots of the magical sights and sounds during the OI Meetup!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
(Pro tip: nothing beats a selfie in front of the fire-breathing dragon. And be sure to also stop by Florean Fortescue\u2019s Ice-Cream Parlour for a sweet treat and some fantastic foodie pics, to boot.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter\u2122 – Hogsmeade\u2122 in Universal\u2019s Islands of Adventure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Keeping with the magical theme, there are plenty of photo ops in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter\u2122 – Hogsmeade\u2122 that you\u2019ll want to take advantage of, as well. Hogwarts\u2122 castle looks particularly beautiful at night, so snap those night-mode shots and blow your Instagram followers away! There are also lots of other great opportunities in Hogsmeade\u2122 village, like the colorful staircase inside of Honeydukes\u2122. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Seuss Landing\u2122 in Universal\u2019s Islands of Adventure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Oh, the pictures you\u2019ll take! This land in Universal\u2019s Islands of Adventure is a personal favorite of mine. Between the bright colors and whimsical backdrops and buildings, you\u2019re sure to find some unique photo ops here. I recommend posing next to the stack of books outside All the Books You Can Read, or among the vibrant Truffula trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. The streets of Hollywood in Universal Studios Florida<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
If neon lights and palm trees are your thing, you can\u2019t miss taking a picture in the streets of Hollywood. From the bright lights of Mel\u2019s Drive-In to the fa\u00e7ade of Universal Orlando\u2019s Horror Make-Up Show, there are plenty of possibilities to be found here. This is another area that\u2019s usually full of action, so getting to take it all in (and snap some photos) with little to no crowds is a photographer\u2019s dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If all of the above options weren\u2019t enough, you can also take photos with some of the many characters that are out and about during the Orlando Informer Meetup. Once it\u2019s your turn, feel free to ask someone in the vicinity to take your picture \u2014 the OI Meetup community is full of kind and helpful people who will be more than happy to. And if nobody\u2019s nearby, there\u2019s always the classic selfie to save the day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
