Finally, it’s the moment you’ve been waiting for… well, it’s almost the moment you’ve been waiting for. When an Orlando Informer Meetup is on the horizon, it’s a no-brainer that you’ll be excited and eager to attend. If you’re getting antsy for the fun to arrive, have no fear – I’m here, with strategies that will help you manage the hype!
From calendars and mobile apps to more old-fashioned methods, I’ve put together a list of my favorite ways to count down to the OI Meetup.

1. Set or make surprise reminders
If the surprise of remembering the upcoming Orlando Informer Meetup is the quickest way to make your day, then this is the strategy for you. You can use a mobile app to set random digital reminders about the weekend as it draws closer, or go the old-school route and place sticky notes around your home with hints of the fun to come. And if you’re really feeling creative, try hiding the sticky notes in fun places so you’ll discover them later on, when you least expect it!
2. Decorate a calendar
After you purchase your tickets, put your artistic skills to the test by decorating your calendar or planner with reminders for milestones as the OI Meetup gets closer – for example, note when the event is six months out, three months out, one month out, one week out, and so on.
